Mission Project

Local Mission Project

The circuit ride is an organized bike ride which was started in 2015 by the First United Methodist Church of Cleveland, TN as a ministry to support a local mission project in our community.  Currently all of the proceeds are used to support Family Promise of Bradley County, a homeless shelter started to assist struggling families in 2011.

Our purpose

Our purpose is to create a safe, fun bicycle friendly environment where individuals and families can enjoy a morning, afternoon, or evening of riding in a scenic area of one's personal choice. With the COVID19 restrictions, we decided to have a virtual event this year, rather than cancel.

Our goal

To use Doug Coulter's words, our goal is to create a "do not miss annual event." In order to keep the tradition, the ride committee decided to keep the event, as a virtual one.
